Today I have some helpful resources to help you manage and increase your book sales. Here’s four links with tips and tricks to kick start your work week.
As an author you want to make the buyer’s experience as easy as possible. Your book needs to be in front of the right audience with clear buying options. Do you need to get a handle on your sales? Take advantage of these great tools, and let me know how these work for you!
1) Purchases from websites and social media – PayPal
Today it’s more important than ever to have a safe and secure eCommerce website as well as a way for your social media audience to make a purchase right from one of your profiles. One of the quickest and most efficient way to process payments is with a credit card — security can be an issue for many, and that is where PayPal can not only make it easy for people to buy, but also attract more visitors to your website and other online accounts. This is especially a great tool for on-the-go mobile users.
2) Bookkeeping and sales management – Quickbooks
You’ve attracted more buyers, and now have the sales streaming in for your books. How do you manage all of the transactions? Keep your focus on writing and marketing — allow Quickbooks to handle the financials. Schedule a free consultation with a live bookkeeper, hire a freelancer to help manage expenses, organize your accounting, and much more. Secure integration allows you to connect your bank accounts as well as your credit cards.
3) Nurture your email subscribers – Aweber
Capture more leads from your website with Aweber. This powerful tool allows you to create marketing emails, newsletters, etc. (I’ve personally been using it for over fifteen years!) Use the service to announce your next book or event and provide value to your subscribers with a free chapter, book giveaway, helpful tips, and more. Their AI-powered design tools will help you create professional messages along with signup forms for your website.
4) Voice calling and messaging – Google Voice
Would you like to have a dedicated business line not connected to your personal telephone number? Google Voice offers a free service that is easy to set up, and even includes voice mail messaging. Use the number on your website as a part of your book promotion and email marketing efforts. It’s simple to set up and link directly to your cell phone or landline.
Hopefully you will find these tools helpful for your book sales. Are there any that you would like to add as well?
Have fun with these tips and tools.
Wishing you a FAN-tastic week!
Susan
