Rick has been a pioneer in the Direct Response advertising industry since the early 90’s, and has used Brand Response strategies to help build many iconic brands from scratch such as Juiceman, Sonicare, The George Foreman Grill, OxiClean, Clarisonic, Rug Doctor, Momentus Golf and many others.

Rick has helped take companies like GoPro from a start-up to over a billion dollars in sales in just a few short years. Yet, with fewer infomercials being filmed, Rick was feeling like he was a dinosaur in the new video world.

The problem/goal

 Rick Cesari isn’t a “theorist.” His expertise comes from years of hand’s on experience working with some of the nation’s fastest growing businesses and big brands.

Rick felt the shrinking market of infomercials giving way to video marketing done by people behind an iphone.

Our goal was to create a brand which brought the two worlds together, positioning Rick at the front of the pack.

 

The solution 

Rick found me on LinkedIn when he was looking for a book marketing expert to help him promote a book, Billion Dollar Brands, that he had written with a co-author doing the interview process where someone else compiled the information for printing.

What stood out to them about you/why they chose you (include quote). Iasked Rick when we first met over coffee, “Why do you need ME to help you with marketing?” and he answered, “Because I don’t know anything about book marketing.”

Rick signed up for a VIP Day where we would create a marketing plan for Billion Dollar Books. At the end of that, he said he didn’t think our work was complete, and it wasn’t. Rick and I worked together for a year to develop his own personal brand and write the book for that brand, Video Persuasion.
