Instead, try animated GIFs like this one:
Gone are days of popular moving images once seen everywhere on AOL, MySpace, and the Internet. Facebook has changed the way we share content, but Giphy, co-founded by Alex Chung, aims to bring back animated GIFs through the cooperation of the modern social network. Not only do these images create a great conversation, they give brands an opportunity to grow their audience and spark some excitement.
Get The Conversation Going With Animated GIFs
Here’s How to Get Started:
At first glance Giphy provides images and quick way to search for what you want through keywords. Just enter the search term and relative matches are found:
Once you find the animated GIF you would like to share, Giphy gives you several options, including an embed feature:
For this example I have selected the Facebook icon to share, which gives you a regular post where you can type a message:
The animated GIF will appear with a link to GIPHY:
Currently there is not a way to post animated GIFS directly from the Internet to Facebook, and so GIPHY provides a great way to bring these highly engaging images back to the social network.
