We’ve got a new kid on the block!
Social sharing and engagement has been the main focus of measurement tools like Klout and Kred.
Now there’s a new ‘tool’ on the block that wants to encourage brands and individuals to reward their most active and engaged followers called, SocialRank.co – not to be confused with socialrank.com.
Social media has become the norm for brands, businesses, authors, and anyone wanting to build an online presence, in what was once a place for celebrities. It is the best place to share your opinions, information, and help customers solve their problems. While Klout has been offering a great program called, Klout Perks, SocialRank seeks to create “Micro-endorsements.”

Users are provided with three metrics about their followers on Twitter with the free version, with the option of adding more networks through their paid services. Setup is quick and easy, and will immediately provide a simple Dashboard:

socialrank
Here’s what their definitions mean:

1. MEF: Most Engaged Follower on Twitter

These are the followers on Twitter with whom you interact the most such as Retweets, @mentions, and favorites.

2. MVF: Most Valuable Follower

When someone spreads your message on Twitter, this is calculated by metrics such as the number of their followers, lists, ect. The more it is shared the higher the ranking.

3. Best Followers.

These are your main engagers on Twitter with the highest follower reach.
While SocialRank is still very new (I set up my account only yesterday), they are hopeful to appeal to brands and individuals who will be attracted to the rewards with a simple tweet out feature in place.
The premium features, offered at $25 a month or $240 a year, give users additional insights from 10 followers to 100, and also offer connections to additional social accounts with demographics and geographical location.
